Property giant Federation Centres has announced the impending sale of four properties valued at $153.1 million, bringing the company' asset sales for August to $220m.
The retail landlord -- which recently merged with fellow property company Novion, and which owns a suite of shopping centre assets across the country -- said the total sale price under the agreements would represent an overall premium to book value of 2.4 per cent.
The sales follow the recent deal over Lutwyche City in Brisbane this month.
"These sales demonstrate the progress our team is making with the ongoing portfolio enhancement program through a combination of refurbishment, redevelopment and selective capital transactions," Federation chief executive Angus McNaughton said.
Charter Hall has signed off on Federation's Goulburn Plaza in NSW and its Katherine Oasis convenience centre in the Northern Territory for $94.9m, with settlement expected later this month.
Sentinel Property will acquires Federation's Westside Plaza in NSW's Broken Hill for $33.7m while Mount Gambier Central in South Australia has been sold to a private investor for $24.5 million. The latter sale is expected to settle in November 2015, subject to execution of certain lease contracts, Federation said.
